A combination drug, the action of which is caused by its constituent components; it has antiseptic, drying and deodorizing effects.

Pharmacokinetics

The drug has predominantly local action in therapeutic doses.

Indications

Sweating, skin opulence, hyperhidrosis of the feet.

Active ingredient

Boric acid, Methenamine, Talc, Sodium tetraborate, Salicylic acid, Lead acetate, Formaldehyde, Zinc

Composition

100 g of the paste contains:

The active ingredients are:

boric acid – 7.0 g,

salicylic acid – 1.4 g,

zinc oxide (zinc oxide) – 25.0 g,

sodium tetraborate – 7.0 g,

talcum powder – 25.0 g,

methenamine (hexamethylentetramine) – 3.5 g,

formaldehyde (formaldehyde solution, formalin) – 3.5 g,

lead acetate trihydrate – 0.3 g;

excipients:

glycerol (glycerin) – 12.0 g,

peppermint leaf oil (peppermint oil) – 0.3 g,

Emulsifier №1 or distilled monoglycerides – 3.0 g,

Purified water – 12.0 g.

How to take, the dosage

Externally to adults and children after 16 years of age. A strip of paste 5 mm in diameter and 1 cm in length has a mass of about 0.5 g. Before using the drug wash feet and (or) other sweaty places and thoroughly dry, then apply the paste at the rate of 0.5 g per 1 cm2 on the skin of feet or on areas of sweating and gently rub for 1 – 3 minutes, remove the excess paste with a napkin. The procedure is performed once a day for 3 – 4 days. If necessary, the course can be repeated in 3 – 4 weeks.

Interaction

Interactions with other drugs have not been described.

Special Instructions

Do not apply the drug to mucous membranes and damaged skin, on large surfaces of the body, do not exceed the specified doses of the drug.

The drug does not negatively affect the performance of potentially hazardous activities requiring special attention and quick reactions (driving vehicles, etc.).

Influence on the ability to drive vehicles, operate machinery

The drug does not affect the ability to drive vehicles, operate machinery.

Synopsis

Homogeneous paste white or white with a slightly yellowish or grayish color, minty odor.

Contraindications

Children under 16 years of age, pregnancy, breastfeeding, kidney disease, hypersensitivity, acute inflammatory diseases of the skin of the feet, skin wounds.

Side effects

Possible redness and burning sensation, which go away after a few minutes on their own and do not require cancellation of the drug; possible allergic reactions – skin rash, angioedema.

Overdose

It is unlikely because the drug is only slightly absorbed and has no systemic action.

Pregnancy use

The use of the drug is contraindicated in pregnancy and during breast-feeding.
