The drug has a calming, anti-anxiety (anxiolytic) effect, without causing undesirable hypnogenic and muscle relaxant effects. Improves the tolerability of psycho-emotional stress. It is a stress-protective, nootropic, anti-amnestic, anti-hypoxic, neuroprotective, anti asthenic, antidepressant.

In intoxication, hypoxia, with conditions after acute stroke, it has a neuroprotective effect, limits the damage area, normalizes learning and memory processes in the central nervous system (CNS).

Inhibits lipid peroxidation.

Modifies the functional activity of protein S-100 in the brain that links synaptic (information) and metabolic processes. Has GABA-mimetic and neurotrophic effect, increases the activity of stress-limiting systems, promotes restoration of neuronal plasticity processes.

Indications

Tenoten® for children is indicated for use in children aged 3 years and older.
Neurasthenia and neurotic disorders (including behavioral disorders), manifested by anxiety, irritability, increased excitability, vegetative disorders as part of complex therapy.
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.
Specific developmental disorders of learning skills (including specific disorders of reading, spelling, arithmetic skills, mixed disorder of learning skills).

In conditions of intoxication, hypoxia, and in conditions after acute cerebrovascular accident, it has a neuroprotective effect, limits the area of ​​damage, and normalizes learning and memory processes in the central nervous system (CNS).

Inhibits lipid peroxidation processes.

Modifies the functional activity of the S-100 protein, which carries out the coupling of synaptic (information) and metabolic processes in the brain. Providing a GABA-mimetic and neurotrophic effect, it increases the activity of stress-limiting systems and helps restore the processes of neuronal plasticity.

Pharmacokinetics

The sensitivity of modern physicochemical methods of analysis (gas-liquid chromatography, high-performance liquid chromatography, gas chromatography-mass spectrometry) does not allow assessing the content of the active substance of Tenoten® for children in biological fluids, organs and tissues due to the specific composition of the drug (see section “Composition (per 1 tablet)”), which makes it technically impossible to study pharmacokinetics.

Special instructions

If you have an intolerance to certain sugars, consult your doctor before taking this drug.
Due to the presence of activating properties in the drug Tenoten® for children, the last dose should be taken no later than 2 hours before bedtime.

Impact on the ability to drive vehicles and machinery
No negative effect of the drug Tenoten® for children on the ability to drive vehicles and other potentially dangerous mechanisms has been identified.

Pregnancy

The safety of using Tenoten® for children in pregnant women and during lactation has not been studied. If necessary, the benefit-risk ratio should be taken into account.

Contraindications

Increased individual sensitivity to the components of the drug, children under 3 years of age.
Lactase deficiency, hereditary galactose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption.

Side Effects

Individual hypersensitivity reactions to the components of the drug are possible.

Interaction

No cases of incompatibility with other drugs have been reported to date.

Overdose

In case of overdose, dyspepsia may occur due to the excipients included in the drug.
