Tanacechol is obtained from the flowers of tanacetum Tanacetum Vulgare L. of the family Asteraceae.

The drug increases formation and excretion of bile, helps to change its biochemical composition.

It has antispasmodic effect on the gall bladder, bile ducts and intestines.

Indications

It is used in adults as a choleretic and antispasmodic agent in chronic non-calculous cholecystitis, biliary dyskinesia of hypomotor type, as well as in patients with post-cholecystectomy syndrome.

How to take, the dosage

Orally, 1-2 tablets 3-4 times a day for 15-20 minutes before a meal. The course of treatment is 20-30 days.

Interaction

It is possible to use in combination with drugs used in gastroenterology (enzymes, antacids, activated charcoal, etc.).

Contraindications

High sensitivity to the components of the drug Tanacechol, cholelithiasis.
