Immunostimulant.

In immunodeficiency states it improves quantitative and functional indices of T-system immunity: normalizes the ratio of T- and B-lymphocytes.

Indications

Immunodeficiency states in adult patients with predominant lesions of the T-system of immunity against the background of infectious, purulent and septic processes, lymphoproliferative diseases (lymphogranulematosis, lympholeukosis).

Active ingredient

Composition

1 liter of solution for subcutaneous injection contains:

acting substances:

Tactivin 0.1 g,

Sodium chloride 8.85 g,

Auxiliary substances:

water for injection.

How to take, the dosage

Tactivin is administered subcutaneously, in adults – 1 ml of 0.01% solution (which is 40 mcg/m2 or 1-2 mcg/kg) injected at night, once a day, daily for 5-14 days. If necessary, the course of treatment is continued for 1 month with 2 ml every 3rd day. The course of treatment may be repeated after 2-3 weeks.

In children from 6 months to 14 years of age Tactivin is prescribed subcutaneously at the rate of 2-3 micrograms per 1 kg of body weight.

In case of frequent acute respiratory viral infections, acute respiratory viral infections, atopic dermatitis complicated by the herpes virus Tactivin is given daily for 7-10 days in combination with basic medicines. Subsequent administration of the drug – 1 injection every other day for 1-2 weeks. It is recommended to administer in the evening between 17 and 20 o’clock.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity; atopic bronchial asthma; pregnancy.
