Systain Ultra Plus, eye drops 10 ml

SISTEIN ULTRA PLUS ophthalmic product provides temporary relief of symptoms of “dry eye” syndrome such as burning sensation and irritation.

SISTEIN ULTRA PLUS ophthalmic product can be used for lubrication and hydration of silicone hydrogel and soft (hydrophilic) contact lenses of daily and prolonged wearing regimes.

Indications

The ophthalmic product SYSTAIN ULTRA PLUS provides temporary relief of the symptoms of dry eye syndrome, such as burning sensation and irritation.

The ophthalmic product SYSTAIN ULTRA PLUS can be used to lubricate and moisturize silicone hydrogel and soft (hydrophilic) contact lenses for daily and extended wearing modes.

Special instructions

Follow the recommendations of your ophthalmologist and the instructions for use.

If you continue to experience discomfort, excessive tearing, changes in vision, or red eyes, stop using SYSTAIN ULTRA PLUS and consult your doctor. The ophthalmic product SYSTAIN ULTRA PLUS is not intended for cleaning and/or disinfection of contact lenses.

PRECAUTIONS

Composition

Ophthalmic product SYSTAIN ULTRA PLUS – sterile solution containing sodium hyaluronate 0.15%, polyethylene glycol 400 0.4%, propylene glycol 0.3%, hydroxypropyl guar 0.175%, sorbitol 1.4%, aminomethylpropanol 0.27%, boric acid 0.18%, sodium borate 0.262%, disodium EDTA 0.025%, sodium citrate 0.6%, potassium chloride 0.12%, sodium chloride 0.07% and preservative POLYQUAD® (polydronium chloride) 0.001%, hydrochloric acid and/or sodium hydroxide (to adjust pH), purified water (to 100% volume).

Contraindications

Individual hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

Recommendations for use

Shake the bottle before use!

Place 1-2 drops in each eye as needed and blink.

When wearing contact lenses, if you experience minor irritation, discomfort or blurred vision, place 1-2 drops on the lens and blink 2-3 times.

SYSTAIN ULTRA PLUS ophthalmic product can be used throughout the day as needed to relieve the symptoms of dry eye syndrome.

Prescribing

Provides comfort and protects the eyes from dryness, irritation, burning sensation, foreign body or gritty sensation caused by dust, smoke, ultraviolet rays, dry heat (radiator, sauna), air conditioning, wind, cosmetics, flicker of a long-running TV or computer monitor.

Action

The ophthalmic product SYSTAIN ULTRA PLUS is a combination of two polymers – hydroxypropyl guar and hyaluronic acid.

Hyaluronic acid is a natural compound present in the human body; it acts as a moisturizing agent and promotes cell proliferation.

The viscoelastic properties of hyaluronic acid, similar to the tear film, and the ability to bind water molecules create conditions for the restoration of damaged cells of the ocular surface.

Hydroxypropyl guar is a high molecular weight polymer that forms a gel-like liquid “plaster” on the ocular surface and protects cells from drying out.

The combination of hyaluronic acid and hydroxypropyl guar, which is part of the ophthalmic product SYSTAIN ULTRA PLUS, attaches to damaged cells of the ocular surface, providing increased hydration and lubrication compared to hyaluronic acid alone.

Storage conditions

At room temperature (from +2°C to +30°C).

Shelf life

All bottle sizes listed below have the following expiration dates:
12 months for a 4 ml bottle containing 1.5 ml of the drug
12 months for an 8 ml bottle containing 3 ml of the drug
24 months for an 8 ml bottle containing 5 ml of the drug
24 months for a 10 ml bottle containing 10 ml of the drug
The solution in the bottle after opening must be used within 3 months, 3 months after opening the bottle.
