How to take, the dosage

Suplazine 1-SHOT, 6 ml is for single administration.

The patient should be at rest for 24-48 h after injection and avoid vigorous physical activity for the duration of treatment. After intraarticular injection a mild local reaction may occur: transient pain, fever, fever, redness, joint effusion, irritation, swelling/inflammation. If these symptoms occur, it is recommended to unload the affected joint and apply ice locally. These symptoms usually go away on their own within a few days.

Injection technique

Pick the blister and syringe out of the carton. Make sure that there is no damage or tampering with the blister. Open the blister by gripping the “tongue” of the paper wrap.

Remove the rubber cap from the syringe adapter and connect it to the desired needle gauge (the needle must be prepared in advance with the patient in mind, we recommend a 21-25 G needle depending on the joint).

Make sure the needle/adapter connection is secure. The graduation on the syringe is only used as a volume indicator.

Inject the product according to standard intra-articular injection practices. The syringe is equipped with a finger rest for ease of insertion. The stroke of the piston is smooth and without jerks.

Special Instructions

Transient transient pain may occur following an intra-articular injection. The joint in question may exhibit mild local reactions such as pain, burning sensation, overheating, redness, effusion, irritation, and swelling/inflammation. If these symptoms are present, immobilize affected joint and apply ice locally.

In most patients, these symptoms go away within a few days. In some cases, namely hypersensitivity, mild local reactions such as pain, irritation, joint swelling/inflammation, and effusion may be much longer and more severe. In such cases, curative measures such as aspiration of synovial fluid may be necessary.

Local adverse reactions may be accompanied by general body reactions such as fever, chills or cardiovascular reactions, and in rare cases, anaphylactic reactions.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity.

The usual precautions and contraindications for any intra-articular injections should be observed.

It is forbidden to inject intravascularly.
