The metaprebiotic STIMBIFID PLUS* is an innovative development of Russian scientists of the Scientific Society “Microbiota” based on deep fundamental research of the intestinal microbiota, as well as safe and effective methods of its correction. The research was the basis of “Scientific discovery” and is protected by two patents of the Russian Federation.

The metaprebiotic STIMBIFID PLUS restores individual intestinal microbiota, creating preferential conditions for the reproduction of bifidobacteria, lactobacilli and E. coli which, by suppressing the growth of pathogenic microbiota, displace them from the body. Substantial growth of normobiota leads to increased colonization resistance of the gastrointestinal mucosa.

The metaprebiotic STIMBIFID PLUS is a further development and profound optimization of the prebiotic Stimbifid and consists of two components – prebiotic and metabiotic.

The narrow prebiotic component is natural fructooligosaccharides (FOS) and fructopolysaccharides (FPS) with an optimized ratio of short (GFn, n = 2-8) to long (GFn, n = 2-60) chains, which ensures the supply of exclusive nutrition for bifidobacteria throughout the colon.

The metabiotic component is calcium lactate. It is a powerful stimulator of growth and reproduction of normobacteria (Russian patents).

The combination in STIMBIFID PLUS of simultaneously a metabiotic and a prebiotic with different mechanisms of action contributes:

safe and effective restoration of own (individual) gut microbiota, including the simultaneous administration of antibiotics;

• Increasing the colonization resistance of the gastrointestinal mucosa in infectious pathology;

Directions for use

• Adults and children from 14 years: 2 tablets 3 times a day with meals. The duration of intake of 1 month. The number of courses are not limited.
• Children from 3 years: 1 tablet 3 times a day with meals.

In order to adapt the gastrointestinal tract to fructosaccharides, a gradual increase in the daily dose to the recommended within 2 to 3 days is possible. So, for example, for adults and children (from 14 years) on the first and second day – 1 Table. x 3 times a day, in the third – 2 Table. x 3 times a day (full daily dosage). Similarly for other age groups.
