Recommended in folk medicine:

• in tuberculosis, flu;
• in metabolic disorders, intestinal disorders

• as a restorative, strengthening the secretory and motor function of the stomach
• in paralysis, gout, rheumatism, nephritis (in the form of baths).

Outwardly: for bruises, infiltrates, baldness; for the prevention of wrinkles; for wounds and ulcers, neuralgia, psoriasis and furunculosis.

How to take, the dosage

Prepared infusion (1 tablespoon of raw materials in 200 ml of water) is taken orally 1/4 cup 3 times a day,

externally – soak the infusion in a gauze bandage and put on the affected area.

Synopsis

The remedy is of plant origin.

Soothing (sedative) effect of hop cones is associated with the bitter substance lupulin.

The complex of biologically active substances (flavonoids, hormones, vitamins and others) determine anti-inflammatory, capillary strengthening, hypersensitizing and analgesic properties of hop cones. In addition, galena preparations of hop cones have regenerative, bactericidal and fungicidal properties. Antimicrobial activity is due to the presence of bitter acids humulone and lupulone.

There is evidence of oestrogenic activity of hop cones extract.

Hypersensitivity.
