Adsorptive and anti-diarrheal agent of natural origin. It has a protective effect on the intestinal mucosa, has a pronounced adsorptive and weakly expressed coagulation.

It is a stabilizer of the mucous barrier, penetrates the mucus and increases its lifespan, forming a physical barrier that protects the mucous membrane of the digestive tract from the negative effects of H⁺ ions, intestinal microorganisms and their toxins.

Indications

Symptomatic treatment of pain associated with diseases of the esophagus, stomach, duodenum; intestinal colic; acute and chronic diarrhea (especially in children).

Special instructions

During the treatment of diarrhea, in addition to taking Smecta, you should follow a gentle diet and also take other medications recommended by your doctor (for example, for rehydration).
Smecta should be taken separately from food and other medications, while maintaining a sufficient interval (1-2 hours). When taking SMEKTA®, side effects may develop, such as constipation.
If you have had severe chronic constipation in the past, the drug should be used with caution.

purified water – up to 10 g.

Contraindications

– hypersensitivity to diosmectite or to one of the other components of the drug.

Side Effects

In some cases: constipation, allergic reactions.

Interaction

When taken orally, diosmectite reduces the rate and/or extent of absorption of other drugs.

Store at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C.
