Sinaflan, 0.025% ointment 15 g

Pharmaceutical group:

Glucocorticosteroid for topical use.

Pharmic action:

Synaflan has anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic, antiexudative and antipruritic effects.

It reduces manifestations and eliminates inflammatory skin reactions.

Pharmacokinetics:

After absorption from the skin surface, it binds to plasma proteins and undergoes metabolism, occurring mainly in the liver. It is excreted through the kidneys.

How to take, the dosage

Externally.

A small amount of the drug is applied to the skin 2-4 times a day and lightly rubbed on a tampon wetted with an antiseptic liquid.

If necessary, an occlusive dressing may be applied and left on the affected area for up to 3-4 days.

Do not use more than 2 g per day under the dressing.

The duration of treatment depends on the nature of the disease and is usually 5-10 days, with a prolonged course of the disease up to 25 days.

The ointment is preferred for dry forms of dermatosis.

Interaction

Compatible with antimicrobial agents.

Decreases the activity of hypotensive, diuretic, antiarrhythmic drugs, potassium preparations.
Diuretics (except potassium-saving) increase the risk of hypokalemia.

Itching, burning of the skin at the site of application of the ointment; with prolonged use on a large body surface hyperglycemia, glucosuria, Icenko-Cushing’s syndrome. Treatment: symptomatic against gradual withdrawal of the drug.
