Sinaflan, 0.025% ointment 15 g

Open and chronic inflammatory and allergic skin diseases of non-microbial etiology, accompanied by dry skin (seborrheic dermatitis, eczema of various genesis and localization, neurodermitis, itching, psoriasis, sunburn, insect bites).

Composition

100 g of ointment contain:
active ingredient: fluocinolone acetonide 25 mg

How to take, the dosage

Externally. A small amount of the drug is applied 2-4 times a day to the skin pre-soaked with a tampon moistened with antiseptic liquid and lightly rubbed in. Duration of treatment depends on the nature of the disease and is usually 5-10 days, with a prolonged course of the disease up to 25 days. In case of limited lesion foci the ointment can be applied under an occlusive dressing in order to enhance the effect.
It is not allowed to apply more than 2 g of ointment daily under the dressing. The ointment is preferred for dry forms of dermatosis.

Interaction

Compatible with antimicrobial agents. Reduces the activity of hypotensive, diuretic, antiarrhythmic drugs, potassium preparations.
Diuretics (except potassium-saving) increase the risk of hypokalemia.

Special Instructions

Perform only in short courses on small areas of the skin. The drug should not be applied to the face. Avoid getting the drug in the eyes. The duration of prescription in children should not exceed 5 days. It is recommended to wear loose clothing during treatment. Patients with common or pink acne during treatment may experience an exacerbation of the disease. To prevent local infectious complications it is recommended to prescribe in combination with antimicrobial agents.

Overdose

Itching, burning of the skin at the site of application of the ointment; with prolonged use on a large body surface hyperglycemia, glucosuria, Icenko-Cushing’s syndrome. Treatment: symptomatic with gradual withdrawal of the drug.
