Contraindications

Side Effects
Maybe:
flatulence, colicky abdominal pain.
With long-term use, especially in high doses, loss of electrolytes (mainly potassium), albuminuria and hematuria, melanin deposition in the intestinal mucosa, damage to the intermuscular plexus.
Interaction
Senna preparations reduce the absorption of tetracycline.
Overdose
Symptoms: diarrhea, impaired water and electrolyte metabolism.
Treatment: symptomatic.
