The rosehip oil, due to its high content of unsaturated fatty acids and fat-soluble vitamins, is an excellent prophylactic agent for atherosclerosis and other vascular lesions.

While improving the proliferation of epithelial cells and mucous membranes, normalizing the permeability of cell and subcellular membranes, rosehip oil has a positive effect on inflammatory diseases of the respiratory system and kidneys, skin diseases, burns, ulcers, promotes the repair process of fractures.

It is recommended for cholelithiasis and kidney stones in order to reduce the sloughing of keratinized epithelium, the cells of which can become the center of stone formation.

Contraindications

Increased individual sensitivity to the components of the drug.

When used internally during pregnancy, children under 12 years of age.

Prescribing

Rosehip oil is used externally or topically for shallow cracks and abrasions of the nipples in nursing women, bedsores, trophic ulcers of the legs, dermatoses, ozena, and nonspecific ulcerative colitis (in complex therapy).

For dermatoses, along with external use, rosehip oil is used internally.
