Pharmacological effect of the dragee “Revit” is due to its constituent vitamins. Retinol palmitate (vitamin A) mainly provides normalization of protein and carbohydrate metabolism.

Thiamine hydrochloride (vitamin B1) ensures normal functioning of the nervous, cardiovascular and digestive systems.

Riboflavin (vitamin B2) is an important component of protein, fat and carbohydrate metabolism, is involved in maintaining normal visual function of the eye.

Ascorbic acid (vitamin C) is involved in redox processes, carbohydrate metabolism, blood clotting and tissue regeneration.

Indications

As a preventive agent in children and adults with conditions accompanied by increased need for vitamins (period of intense growth, increased physical or mental load, pregnancy and lactation, with unbalanced or inadequate nutrition); in the complex therapy during recovery from illness.

Composition

Active ingredients:

retinol palmitate (vitamin A – palmitate) – 0.00138 g (2500 ME),

Thiamine hydrochloride – 0,001 g,

Riboflavin – 0,001 g,

Ascorbic acid – 0,035 g.

Auxiliary substances:

wheat flour,

starch syrup,

sucrose (sugar),

Peppermint leaf oil,

beeswax,

sunflower oil (sunflower oil),

talc.

How to take, the dosage

Revit is taken orally 10-15 minutes after a meal.

Adults – 1 tablet three times a day. Children from 3 to 7 years -1 to 2 pellets a day, from 7 to 15 years – 1 tablet 2-3 times a day. The course of treatment – 30-60 days.

The course of treatment upon a doctor’s recommendation may be repeated after a break (1-3 months). If pregnancy – 1 tablet a day.

Interaction

Ascorbic acid as part of the drug may increase absorption of penicillin, iron, reduce the effect of heparin and indirect anticoagulants, increase the risk of crystalluria when treated with salicylates.

Special Instructions

Yellow coloring of urine is possible (completely harmless and explained by the presence of riboflavin in the drug). Do not take simultaneously with other vitamin preparations to avoid overdose.

Contraindications

High sensitivity to the components of the drug. Children under 3 years of age.
