Active ingredient

Composition

1 g of the cream contains:

Fluocortolone pivalate 1 mg,

lidocaine hydrochloride in terms of anhydrous substance 20 mg.

Auxiliary substances:

Sodium hydrophosphate dodecahydrate, 0.7 mg;

dynate edetate, 1 mg;

sodium dihydrophosphate dihydrate – 4.5 mg;

benzyl alcohol – 5 mg;

sorbitan stearate, 10 mg;

Polysorbate 60, 35 mg;

Ceto stearyl alcohol, 60 mg;

Liquid paraffin – 90 mg;

White petroleum jelly – 100 mg;

Purified water – 672.8 mg.

How to take, the dosage

Rectal cream should be applied twice a day: in the morning and in the evening. In the first days of treatment, the cream may be applied three times a day. As symptoms ease, one application a day is often sufficient.

Interaction

Patients receiving antiarrhythmic drugs should use Relief Pro with caution, given that the drug contains lidocaine.

The simultaneous use of lidocaine with antiarrhythmic drugs may prolong the QT interval and, in very rare cases, the development of AV-blockade or ventricular fibrillation.

Special Instructions

Contraindications

Tuberculosis and syphilitic process in the area of application;

Viral diseases (e.g., chicken pox, reaction to vaccination, shingles) in the area of application;

Treatment of children and adolescents;

The first trimester of pregnancy;

hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

Side effects

Pregnancy use

Relief Pro cream and suppositories should be prescribed with caution in pregnant women. When prescribing to pregnant and lactating women, the expected benefits of treatment to the mother must be weighed against the possible risks to the fetus and the baby.

If a doctor prescribes the drug during pregnancy and lactation, it should be used for a short period of time.
