Span is an herbal cough medicine.

It has expectorant, mucolytic and antispasmodic effect.

Limits the viscosity of sputum and promotes its expectoration.

Indications

As an expectorant in the treatment of inflammatory diseases of the upper respiratory tract and lungs, accompanied by cough with sputum difficult to remove.

Composition

Active ingredient:

Dry ivy leaf extract (5-7.5:1) 7.00 mg;

Associates:

Purified water 566.66 mg;

potassium sorbate 1.34 mg;

Physical citric acid anhydrous 0.50 mg;

How to take, the dosage

Intravenously in infants (0-1 year old) 2.5 ml 2 times a day.

In small children (1-6 years) 2.5 ml 3 times a day.

To school-age children and adolescents 5 ml 3 times a day.

Adults: 5-7.5 ml 3 times a day.

The drug is dosed using a measuring cup. The course of treatment is determined by the severity of the disease; the minimum course of treatment should be 1 week.

In order to consolidate the therapeutic effect it is recommended to continue the treatment for 2-3 more days after the disappearance of the disease symptoms. If there is no improvement it is necessary to see a doctor.

Special Instructions

With caution, the drug is prescribed in the form of syrup if fructose intolerance.
The patient should be informed that if there is no improvement, medical consultation is necessary.
During storage a slight clouding of the solution and a slight change in taste is possible, which does not affect the therapeutic properties of the drug.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the ingredients of the drug, children (under 1 year);

Alcoholism and other conditions in which the use of alcohol is contraindicated.
