How to take, the dosage

Outwardly, locally, inhaled. Areas with superficial skin injuries (microtraumas) are treated with a tampon soaked in propolis tincture, 1-3 times a day. In chronic suppurative otitis after thorough cleaning of pus in the ear a tampon soaked in propolis tincture is inserted for 1-2 minutes 2-3 times a day or 1-2 drops in the ear 3-4 times a day.

In chronic pharyngitis and tonsillitis the tonsils are lubricated with propolis tincture 1-2 times a day for 8-15 days.

In addition, in chronic tonsillitis an aqueous solution of propolis tincture at a ratio of 1:20 is used for inhalation. The course of treatment is 1-2 inhalations per day for 7-10 days.

In periodontal diseases, propolis tincture is placed on turundas in periodontal pockets for 5 minutes after deep curettage.

In case of the damages of the mucous membrane of the oral cavity an aqueous solution of propolis tincture (15 ml of tincture in 1/2 cup of warm water) is used for gargling 4-5 times a day for 3-4 days.

Contraindications

Side effects

Allergic reactions (itching, redness of the skin, rash), short-term burning sensation at the site of application of the drug are possible.

If allergic reactions develop, the drug should be discontinued.
