Polyvalent piobacteriophage is immunostimulatory.

Lysis of microorganisms corresponding to the phage (staphylococci, streptococci, pathogenic intestinal and Pseudomonas bacteria), Proteus (mirabilis, vulgaris, Klebsiella pneumoniae).

Indications

Treatment and prevention of various forms of purulent-inflammatory and enteral diseases caused by bacteria Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, Proteus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Escherichia coli:

diseases of the gastrointestinal tract (gastroenterocolitis, cholecystitis, pancreatitis, intestinal dysbiosis);

inflammatory diseases of newborns and young children (gastroenterocolitis, intestinal dysbiosis, omphalitis, pemphigus, pyoderma, septicemia and septicopyemia of various localization);

surgical infections (wound suppuration, purulent skin lesions, burns, peritonitis, pleurisy, mastitis, osteomyelitis);

urogenital infections (cystitis, pyelonephritis, endometritis, vulvitis, bartholinitis, colpitis, salpingoophoritis);

purulent-inflammatory diseases of the ear, throat, nose, sinuses, oral cavity, pharynx, larynx, lungs and pleura (otitis, sore throat, pharyngitis, stomatitis, periodontitis, sinusitis, frontal sinusitis, pneumonia, pleurisy);

post-traumatic conjunctivitis, keratoconjunctivitis, purulent corneal ulcer and iridocyclitis;

prevention of nosocomial infections caused by bacteria Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, Proteus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Escherichia coli.

An important condition for effective phage therapy is the preliminary determination of the phage sensitivity of the pathogen.

Composition

A mixture of sterile purified filtrates of phagolysates of bacteria Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, Proteus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Escherichia coli – up to 1 ml.

Pregnancy

The use of this medication during pregnancy and breastfeeding is possible in the presence of infections caused by phage-sensitive strains of bacteria (as recommended by a doctor).

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

Interaction

The drug can be used in combination with other drugs, including antibiotics.

Recommendations for use

The drug is used for oral administration (by mouth), in the form of enemas, applications, irrigations, introduction into wound cavities, vagina, uterus, nose, sinuses, as well as into drained cavities: abscesses, abdominal, pleural, bladder, renal pelvis.

The drug is taken orally on an empty stomach 0.5-1 hour before meals.

Before use, the vial with the bacteriophage must be shaken and inspected. The preparation must be transparent and free of sediment.

Attention! If there is turbidity, do not use the drug!

If it is necessary to use part of the bottle (small doses), remove the central part of the aluminum cap with tweezers or scissors, treat the open surface of the rubber stopper with a cotton swab moistened with an alcohol-containing solution, and draw the required dose of the drug with a sterile syringe. To withdraw each dose of the drug from the vial, use a new sterile syringe with a needle. The drug from an opened bottle, subject to the above rules, storage conditions, and absence of turbidity, can be used throughout the shelf life.

Storage conditions

At a temperature of 2 to 8°C, protected from light and out of the reach of children.

Transportation conditions: At temperatures from 2 to 8°C, transportation is allowed at temperatures from 9 to 25°C for no more than 1 month.

Shelf life: 2 years. A drug that has expired cannot be used.
