The plantain infusion increases the secretion of bronchial glands, has a mucolytic, anti-inflammatory effect, stimulates the secretion of gastric juice, increases its acidity.

How to take, the dosage

Two filter packs (one tablespoon) are placed in a glass or enamel bowl, pour 100 ml (1/2 cup) of boiling water, cover and infuse for 15 minutes, occasionally pressing down on the bags with a spoon, then they squeeze.

The volume of the resulting infusion bring boiled water to 100 ml.

It is taken orally warm 1/2 cup 2-3 times a day 30 minutes after a meal for 7-10 days.

We recommend to shake the infusion before drinking.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to preparations of the plantain.

Hypersecretion of gastric juice, gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer during exacerbation, pregnancy, lactation, children under 12 years of age.

Side effects

Possible allergic reactions, in rare cases – heartburn.
