Indications

Symptomatic treatment of infectious and inflammatory diseases of the mouth and throat: tonsillitis, gingivitis, stomatitis, pharyngitis.

Each peppermint-flavored snuff tablet contains:

ambazone monohydrate 10.0 mg.

Auxiliary substances:

sucrose 729.0 mg,

lactose monohydrate 139.0 mg,

cocoa bean powder 50.0 mg,

povidone K-30 50.0 mg,

peppermint flavoring 12.0 mg,

stearic acid 10.0 mg.

How to take, the dosage

The tablets should be swallowed until complete dissolution (15-30 minutes after meals).

After using the tablets you should refrain from drinking and eating for 3 hours.

Adults: 4-5 tablets (0.04-0.05 g) daily.

Children: 3 tablets (0.03 g) per day from 3 to 7 years.

The course of treatment is 3-4 days.

Interaction

Clinically significant interactions with other drugs have not been identified.

Special Instructions

The drug is not recommended for patients with hereditary intolerance to sucrose and lactose.
Increasing the dose has no greater clinical effect.
If symptoms persist or if body temperature increases or headache occurs, consult a physician.
Influence on driving, operating machinery

The drug does not influence the ability to drive vehicles and operate machinery as well as to perform other potentially dangerous activities requiring increased concentration and quick psychomotor reactions.

Contraindications

High sensitivity to ambazone and other ingredients of the drug; lactose intolerance, fructose intolerance, sugar/isomaltase deficiency, glucose-galactose malabsorption, lactase deficiency; children under 3 years of age.
