Expectorant and cough-softening agent – a syrup of plant origin (thyme), increases the amount of mucous membrane discharge of the upper respiratory tract, helps to liquefy sputum and accelerate its evacuation.

How to take, the dosage
The drug is taken orally, after meals (due to the possibility of decreased appetite).
Adults: 1 tablespoon 3 times a day;
Children from 3 to 6 years – 1/2 to 1 teaspoon 3 times a day;
Children from 6 to 12 years – 1-2 teaspoons 3 times a day;
Children over 12 years – 1 dessert spoon 3 times a day.
The course of treatment is 10-14 days. The prolongation of the course of treatment and the repeated courses of treatment are possible by the doctor’s recommendation.

The drug contains 8-11% ethanol. The content of absolute alcohol is: in 1 teaspoon (5 ml) up to 0.43 g, in 1 dessert spoon (10 ml) – up to 0.87 g, in 1 tablespoon (15 ml) – up to 1.3 g. The maximum daily dose of the drug for adults – 3 tablespoons (45 ml) – contains up to 3.9 g of absolute ethyl alcohol.
When using the drug, caution must be exercised while driving vehicles, operating moving machinery and engaging in other potentially dangerous activities requiring increased concentration and quick psychomotor reactions.
Hint for diabetics: the sucrose content of 1 teaspoon (5 ml) of the preparation is approximately 0.32 units of units, of 1 dessert spoon (10 ml) – approximately 0.64 units; of 1 tablespoon – approximately 0.96 units.
