Composition

Active ingredient:

dry peony extract containing the amount of phenolic glycosides

in terms of salicin and dry matter 16.0% – 0.150 g

Kernel excipients:

milk sugar (lactose),

potato starch,

low molecular weight medical polyvinylpyrrolidone (povidone),

calcium stearate,

magnesium carbonate basic (magnesium hydroxycarbonate);

Shell excipients:

sugar (sucrose),

magnesium carbonate basic (magnesium hydroxycarbonate),

low molecular weight medical polyvinylpyrrolidone (povidone),

titanium dioxide pigment (titanium dioxide),

Aerosil (silicon dioxide colloidal),

beeswax,

Vaseline oil (liquid paraffin).

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, pregnancy, lactation, children (up to 12 years), haalactose intolerance, lactase deficiency or glucose-galactose malabsorption.

Side Effects

Allergic reactions are possible.

Interaction

Peony evasive preparations help weaken the effect of central nervous system tonics; enhance the effect of sleeping pills, sedatives and antispasmodics.

Overdose

In case of overdose, depression of the central nervous system and drowsiness are possible.

Treatment: symptomatic.
