Pantoderm ointment 30 g

Pantoderm has a regenerating, metabolic and mild anti-inflammatory effect.

Dexpanthenol forms an active metabolite in the body – pantothenic acid, which is part of coenzyme A, which catalyzes acetylation in the body, is involved in virtually all metabolic processes (tricarboxylic acid cycle, carbohydrate, fat and fatty acid exchange, phospholipids, proteins, etc.), provides formation of corticosteroids, choline acetylation.

Stimulates the regeneration of skin and mucous membranes, accelerates mitosis and increases the strength of collagen fibers.

Indications

– Dry skin;
– Wounds and burns;
– dermatitis, bedsores, diaper rash, abscesses, furuncles after dissection and sanation;
– aseptic post-operative wounds, poorly engrafted skin grafts;
– treatment and prevention of cracked and inflamed nipples during lactation;
– care for infants: prevention and treatment of diaper rash in infants, activation of the skin healing process for minor lesions, erythema from diapers.

Composition

Active ingredient: dexpanthenol – 50 mg;

Auxiliary substances: vaseline; vaseline oil; almond oil; white wax; anhydrous lanolin; cetostearyl alcohol; lanolin spirits; water

How to take, the dosage

Externally. Pantoderm® is applied to the damaged or inflamed area of the skin once or several times a day.

Milk care for nursing mothers: The ointment is applied to the nipples after each feeding; it can also be used as a compress.

Infant care: apply the ointment every time the diaper is changed.

Special Instructions

The treatment with Pantoderm significantly reduces mechanical irritation.

In case of dry skin defects it is recommended to use Pantoderm in the form of an ointment, and for wet wounds and open areas of the body – in the form of a cream.

Pantoderm drug should be used with caution in patients with chronic renal failure.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the ingredients of the drug.

Side effects

Some skin allergic reactions may occur.
