Panthenol is a B vitamin – a derivative of pantothenic acid.

Panthenol passes in the body into pantothenic acid, which is part of coenzyme A and is involved in processes of acetylation, carbohydrate and fat metabolism, the synthesis of acetylcholine, corticosteroids, porphyrins; It stimulates regeneration of skin, mucous membranes, normalizes cell metabolism, accelerates mitosis and increases the strength of collagen fibers.

It has a regenerating, metabolic and mild anti-inflammatory effect.

Indications

Dry skin;
violation of the integrity of the skin: minor injuries, burns (including sunburn), abrasions, bullous dermatitis, abscess, boil, trophic ulcers of the lower leg, bedsores, cracks, aseptic postoperative wounds, poorly surviving skin grafts;
cervical erosion;
breast care during lactation (cracks and inflammation of the nipples of the mammary gland), care for infants (diaper rash).
