The heater is intended for use as a source of ultraviolet radiation with a wavelength of 253.7 nm in bactericidal irradiators for air disinfection (according to the passport). Also UV-C spectrum is used in the treatment of acute and subacute diseases of the skin, nasopharynx, inner ear, to treat wounds with the risk of anaerobic infection, tuberculosis of the skin.
