As a dietary supplement – an additional source of vitamins B₆, D₃ and calcium:

Composition

Excipients: lactose, calcium stearate (anti-caking and anti-caking additive).

How to take, the dosage

The drug is preferably taken under the tongue.

Adults are prescribed 2 tablets. 2 times a day. For prophylaxis take 2 tablets in the evening.

The course of treatment is 6 months (with 5-10 days break after each month of treatment).

Osteomed Forte has multilevel action: it promotes regulation of phosphorus-calcium metabolism, effective and safe restoration and formation of bone tissue structure; suppresses bone resorption and stimulates osteogenesis; increases mineral density of bone tissue. As a source of natural prohormones the preparation promotes safe normalization of the hormonal background and formation of collagen.

Properties of biologically active components

Calcium citrate is an effective and safe form of calcium, essential for strengthening bones (increasing bone mineral density). It promotes fuller and safer absorption of calcium from the gastrointestinal tract, inhibits parathormone production and prevents bone resorption.

The organic component homogenate of trumpet-rod homogenate (HDBA organic complex with vitamin B₆) increases androgen levels, which improves bone remodeling by indirectly stimulating osteoblast activity and increasing the number of osteocytes. The amino acids contained in the homogenate of the trumpet-hatchery are involved in the formation of collagen, which forms the bone matrix.

Vitamin D₃ (colecalciferol) promotes the absorption of calcium, magnesium and phosphorus and is responsible for reducing the excretion of these substances through the urine. Vitamin D₃ is essential for skeletal growth, muscle strengthening, bone and tooth mineralization.

Vitamin B₆ (pyridoxine hydrochloride) promotes the absorption of magnesium from the gastrointestinal tract and its transport into cells, the absorption of calcium, its penetration through cell membranes and storage in bone tissue, preventing disruption of calcium metabolism. Vitamin B₆ prevents stone formation in the renal pelvis and is involved in the synthesis of sex hormones.
