Infusion of rind bark has a laxative effect due to the presence of anthracene derivative glycosides that irritate the mucosal receptors of the large intestine.

Laxative effect usually comes within 8 – 12 hours after taking the drug.

How to take, the dosage

Two filter packs are placed in a glass or enamel bowl, pour 100 ml (1/2 cup) of boiling water, cover and infused for 15 minutes. Filter-pack squeeze, the volume of the resulting infusion bring boiled water to 100 ml.

Take orally 1/2 cup at night or in the morning.

Special Instructions

A long-term use of the drug without a doctor’s consultation is not recommended.
