Antifungal drug for external use. It has fungistatic and fungicidal effect caused by damage to the cytoplasmic membrane of the fungus by disrupting the biosynthesis of sterols. The content of ergosterol decreases and the content of atypical steric nonflat sterols accumulates.
It has a broad spectrum of action. It is highly active against both most common and rare pathogens of fungal nail lesions: dermatophytes Trichophyton spp, Microsporum spp, Epidermophyton floccosum; yeast fungi Candida spp.; mold fungi Alternaria spp., Scopulariopsis spp, Hendersonula spp.; fungi of the family Dematiaceae Cladosporium spp.; insensitive species Aspergillus, Fusarium, Micorales.

How to take, the dosage
Topically. Apply to the affected finger or toe nails once or twice a week.
Special Instructions
The file used to treat the affected nails should not be used to treat healthy nails.
During the treatment you should avoid the use of decorative nail polish and false nails.
Avoid getting the polish in the eyes, ears and mucous membranes.
The drug contains ethanol, so too frequent and improper application may cause irritation or dryness of the skin around the nail.
The napkin contains a flammable substance.
Persons working with organic solvents (including paint thinners, gasoline, kerosene) should wear sealed gloves to protect the nails coated with varnish.
To prevent the varnish from drying out, close the lid tightly after use. To prevent the lid from sticking, avoid getting the lacquer on the threads.
If the lacquer is missed, you should not apply an excessive amount of it in several layers, it is enough to continue treatment according to the instructions for use.
Do not pour the remaining preparation in the place of water or household waste.
Patients with conditions predisposing to the development of fungal lesions of the nails (peripheral circulation disorder, diabetes, immunodeficiency), as well as patients with nail dystrophy before using the drug, should consult a physician.
In case more than 2/3 of the nail plate is subject to destruction or fungal affection it is also necessary to consult a physician in order to prescribe the accompanying oral therapy.
Influence on the ability to drive vehicles and mechanisms. Has not been studied.

Side effects
Unwanted reactions are rarely registered during the use of Onyhelp® . Such nail damages as discoloration, destruction of nail plates, nail brittleness can be the consequence of fungal nail damage.
All adverse reactions noted during the use of the drug Onyhelp® are presented below, according to the accepted classification by organ system and frequency of occurrence: Very common (≥10%); common (≥1% and <10%); infrequent (≥0.1% and <1%); rare (≥0.01% and <0.1%); very rare (<0.01%), frequency unknown (cannot be estimated from available data).
Skin and subcutaneous tissue: rarely – nail damage, discoloration, onychoclasia (brittle nail plate), onychorexis (brittle nail plate); very rarely – burning sensation of skin; frequency is unknown – erythema, itching, contact dermatitis, urticaria, blisters.
If any of the above side effects are aggravated or any other side effects are noted, the doctor should be informed.
Overdose
The drug is intended for external use, so in case of accidental ingestion it is necessary to flush the stomach and conduct symptomatic treatment.
