Ocvis ocular tissue protector sterile solution, 0.3% 5 g

Okvis is a viscoelastic solution that coats the cornea and conjunctiva surfaces when it is applied. Its action as a protector is based on the moderate anti-inflammatory and anti-edema effect of the chondroitin sulfate included in the composition, which has protective properties.

The product dries much slower than standard saline solutions, forming a very thin protective film that protects the corneal epithelial tissue from unwanted exposure to environmental factors.

The use of Ocvis solution helps to relieve symptoms of eye irritation-redness, itching, dryness and restoration of damaged tissues.

Injection of the solution facilitates contact lenses insertion and removal and reduces their adverse effect on corneal tissues.

In surgical practice Ocvis solution is used during operations on the cornea and is used in the postoperative period to prevent possible complications.

The solution is active for at least 90 minutes after each application.

Indications

Dry eye syndrome;
Prevention of irritating effects of adverse environmental factors;
Protecting the cornea when using contact lenses;
In ophthalmic surgery (cataract extraction, laser operations, IOL implantation, penetrating keratoplasty, etc.) as an anti-inflammatory and decongestant in the early postoperative period.

Composition

Eye tissue protector based on sulfated glycosaminoglycan chondroitin sulfate,

Contraindications

Individual intolerance to the components of the product.

Side Effects

No adverse reactions have been identified; there may be hypersensitivity to any component of this protector, which quickly passes when the drug is discontinued.
