Oak, ground bark 50 g

Oak bark is a herbal remedy with a complex of active biological substances.

It has astringent, immunostimulating, enveloping, antacid, anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial action.

At the expense of tannins (not less than 8% in the preparation), it protects tissues from pathogenic organisms and local irritation. In addition, the bark contains pectins, phlobaphene, ellagic and gallic acids.

How to take, the dosage

6 g of raw materials (2 tablespoons / 4 filter bags) was placed in a glass or enamel bowl, pour 200 ml (1 cup) of hot boiled water, cover and heated in a boiling water bath with periodic stirring for 30 minutes, strain without cooling, the remaining raw squeeze. The volume of the resulting broth is adjusted with boiled water to 200 ml.

The broth is used as a warm rinse in 1/2-1 cup 6-8 times a day.

It is recommended to shake the decoction before use.

Contraindications

Oak bark has virtually no contraindications with the exception of hypersensitivity to substances of the bark.

Side effects

Allergic reactions are possible. With prolonged use of decoction of oak bark for mouthwashes, in some cases, there is a decrease in sense of smell and taste.
