NowCheck COVID-19 Ag rapid test for detection of coronavirus antigen, 25 pcs.

The NowCheck COVID-19 Ag Test reagent kit is designed for the qualitative and rapid detection of the SARS-CoV-2 antigen in nasopharyngeal smears. Is a fast alternative to PCR, does not require laboratory equipment and special conditions of conduct.

Directions for use

Prepare the specimen for immediate testing:

• Inject a sterile swab into the patient’s nostril.
• Turn the swab over the posterior surface of the nasopharynx 3-4 times.
• Place the swab into the tube with extraction buffer. Squeezing the walls of the tube, stir the contents with the tampon more than 5 times.
• Remove the tampon by squeezing the walls of the tube. Secure the drip tip firmly.

If the sample cannot be tested immediately:

• Use 1 ml of virus transport medium instead of extraction storage buffer (8 hours at 20 °C, 12 hours at 5 °C)
• Using a micropipette, take 350 µl from the virus transport medium.
• Transfer the taken volume to a tube with extraction buffer, then mix the components thoroughly (ratio of virus transport medium solution to sample and extraction buffer 1:1).
• Tightly fix the nozzle with the dropper.

Analyzing:

• Transfer 3 drops of the extracted sample into the special sample well on the surface of the test cassette.
• Read the test result after 15 to 30 minutes. Do not read results if more than 30 minutes have elapsed since starting the test (sample transfer), this could give false results:
  • One colored band (C) in the results window indicates a negative result.
  • Two colored bands (C and T) in the results window indicates a SARS-CoV-2 positive result.
  • If the control band (C) is not visible in the results window, the result is invalid.
