Novocaine, 0.5% 10 ml 10 pcs

A local anesthetic.

It accumulates in the membranes of nerve fibers and endings and interacts with receptors located in potential-dependent sodium channels.

Minimises membrane permeability to sodium ions, preventing the onset of an action potential and the conduction of the pain impulse.

Indications

Anesthesia

Infiltration, conduction, epidural and spinal anesthesia;

vagosympathetic and paranephral blockade;

Pain syndrome in gastric and duodenal ulcers, hemorrhoids, nausea.

1 ml procaine 10 mg

How to take, the dosage

I/m – 5-10 ml of 1-2% solution 3 times a week for a month, after which a 10-day break is made.

For infiltration anesthesia 0.25-0.5% solutions are used, for conduction and peridural – 2% solution; orally – 1/2 spoonful (in pain).

Hypersensitivity.
