Pharmacological action is determined by the properties of the vitamins included in the drug.
Thiamine (vitamin Bi) in the human body as a result of phosphorylation processes is converted into cocarboxylase, which is a coenzyme of many enzymatic reactions. Thiamine plays an important role in carbohydrate, protein and fat metabolism. It is actively involved in the processes of conducting nerve excitation in synapses.
Pyridoxine (vitamin B6) is essential for normal functioning of the central and peripheral nervous system. In phosphorylated form it is a coenzyme in the metabolism of amino acids (decarboxylation, overamination, etc.). It acts as a coenzyme of the most important enzymes acting in nervous tissues. It participates in the biosynthesis of many neurotransmitters such as dopamine, noradrenaline, adrenaline, histamine and gamma-aminobutyric acid.
Cyanocobalamin (vitamin Bi2) is essential for normal hematopoiesis and maturation of red blood cells, and is involved in a number of biochemical reactions that support the vital functions of the body – in the transfer of methyl groups, in the synthesis of nucleic acids, protein, in the exchange of amino acids, carbohydrates, lipids. It has a favorable effect on processes in the nervous system (synthesis of nucleic acids and lipid composition of cerebrosides and phospholipids). Coenzyme forms of cyanocobalamin – methylcobalamin and adenosylcobalamin are necessary for cell replication and growth.
Indications
It is used in the treatment of the following neurological diseases:

How to take, the dosage
Prescribe orally 1 tablet. 1-3 times a day. Course duration is determined individually.
The tablets should be taken after a meal, without chewing and with a small amount of liquid.
Interaction
In concomitant use of Neuromultivit and levodopa there is a decrease in the antiparkinsonian effectiveness of levodopa.
When Neuromultivit and ethanol are used concomitantly, absorption of the thiamine contained in the drug is sharply reduced (blood levels may decrease by 30%).
When taking Neuromultivit it is not recommended to take multivitamin complexes including B vitamins.
Special Instructions
It is not recommended that the drug be used in high doses for more than 4 weeks.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the ingredients of the drug.
Pregnancy use
It is not recommended to use Neuromultivit during pregnancy and lactation (breastfeeding) due to the lack of reliable clinical data confirming the safety of the drug during these periods.
