The extract of the herb Gentianum contains bitter glycosides (gentiopycrine, erythaurin, erythrocentaurin, etc.), the alkaloid gentianin, ascorbic and oleanolic acids, essential oil, flavonoids, which have diuretic and antiseptic action. Extracts, infusions and decoctions are used for urinary tract infections, pyelonephritis, urolithiasis.

Amaranth root extract contains a complex of biologically active compounds, among which the main ones are phthalides, carvacrol, sesquiterpenes, furocoumarins, psoralen and bergapten, aromatic compounds, essential oil, which includes cineol, acetic, isovalerian and benzoic acids that have diuretic and antiseptic effects and help to reduce diuretic disorders, eliminate inflammation in the kidneys and urinary tract. In addition to essential oil, resins, organic acids (angelic and malic), starch, sugars, tannins and minerals were found in the roots.
