It has a local irritating and analgesic effect.

The irritation of sensitive skin receptors and absorption of highly active substances (histamine, enzymes, organic acids, etc.) help to dilate blood vessels, improve the trophism of the underlying tissues and determine the analgesic effect of the drug.

Indications

Pain syndrome in diseases of the musculoskeletal system:

– arthritis of various etiologies;

– neuralgia;

– myalgia;

– sciatica;

– sciatica.

Composition

Composition (per 100 g of ointment)

Active ingredients:

dry cobra venom 12 MED (mouse action units),

methyl salicylate 4.0 g,

camphor 3.0 g,

Eucalyptus oil 2.0 g (equivalent to 1.4 g cineole).

Auxiliary components: petroleum jelly 81.0 g, beeswax 10.0 g.

Special Instructions

Wash your hands thoroughly after applying the ointment to avoid getting the ointment in your eyes or on other mucous membranes. Avoid getting the ointment on open wounds and mucous membranes.

In case of careless contact of the ointment with the mucous membrane of the eyes, they should be rinsed copiously with water.

Contraindications

– hypersensitivity;

– active pulmonary tuberculosis;

– fever;

– exhaustion;

– deficiency in cerebral and coronary circulation;

– angiospasm (includingч. history);

– severe renal and/or hepatic insufficiency;

– pregnancy;

– lactation period;

– skin diseases and mechanical damage of the skin where the ointment is applied.

Side effects

In isolated cases, allergic skin reactions (redness, itching, rashes) are possible, which disappear after discontinuing the drug! If any adverse reactions occur, you should stop using the drug and consult a doctor.

Pregnancy use

High individual sensitivity to the components of the drug, skin diseases and mechanical damage to the skin where the ointment is applied, thrombophlebitis, active pulmonary tuberculosis, febrile states, general exhaustion, marked liver and kidney function disorders, cerebral and/or coronary circulation disorders, angiospasm (including in anamnesis), pregnancy and breast-feeding period, children under 6 years.

With caution

Childhood, history of bronchial asthma triggered by taking acetylsalicylic acid or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.
