How to take, the dosage

Adults take 8 tablets a day, dividing the daily portion into several doses (2-4 tablets at a time), with plenty of water.

The ingredients in Metabarrier Slim Premium can reduce the absorption of fats and carbohydrates from food and help fight excess weight.

Salacia is a plant whose roots and stems are used to make tea in Southeast Asia. Salacia stem and root extract (salacinol) has the ability to reduce carbohydrate absorption. Carbohydrates consumed with food are broken down by gastrointestinal enzymes and are absorbed in the small intestine. Salacinol, which is found in salacia, inhibits the activity of gastrointestinal enzymes (α-glucosidase), which prevents the absorption of carbs.

Overconsumption of carbs is the way to obesity, diabetes, heart and vascular disease. Salacia can block carbohydrates already in the gastrointestinal tract and prevent these, most often excess components, from being absorbed into our bodies. Adding salacia to food can help reduce the risk of elevated blood glucose.

Polyphenols are natural components derived from seaweed and red wine. Seaweed polyphenols have lipase inhibiting effects, thus inhibiting lipid absorption from food, adipocyte differentiation and suppressing fat accumulation and helping to fight obesity. Dietary fat that enters the body is broken down by lipase (a gastrointestinal enzyme) in the intestine and absorbed into the body. Seaweed polyphenols have a positive effect by reducing the absorption of fats from food.

Non-digestible dextrin is a water-soluble, low viscosity dietary fiber that is produced by acid and heat treatment of potato starch. There is evidence of an inhibitory effect of non-digestible dextrin on glucose levels in the body, which occurs as a result of reduced tissue transport.

Green tea extract contains epigallocatechin-3-gallate – a substance that in experiments inhibits intestinal enzymes responsible for emulsification and digestion of lipids (fats) in the intestine. Epigallocatechin-3-gallate inhibits pancreatic lipase activity. This means that excessive amounts of lipids obtained with food will not enter the bloodstream and will not be distributed throughout the body

Rutin and catechin, components of plant origin from the flavonoid group, are included as antioxidants.
