The product is designed for the care of the nasal cavity.

Area of application – otorhinolaryngology.

MestaMidin®-nasal mucosa product has antiseptic properties, effectively moisturizes and promotes healing of the nasal mucosa.

The components contained in the product eliminates the feeling of dryness of the mucous membranes and the structure of the product provides a prolonged moisturizing effect, forms a protective barrier and creates perfect conditions for healing.

Thanks to its moisturizing properties it helps maintain physiologic microclimate and prevents reproduction of bacteria.

Restoration of physiologic functions of the mucosa improves the local immunity and increases resistance of the nasal mucosa to viruses and pathogens.

Indications

– to create a protective antiseptic barrier in the nasal cavity and suppress the activity of pathogenic multi-antibiotic resistant bacteria;

– to moisturize the nasal mucosa;

– to accelerate the regeneration of the nasal mucosa after surgery;

– to maintain the physiological microclimate of the nasal cavity.

Pharmacological effect

Restoring the physiological functions of the mucous membrane helps to increase local immunity, increasing the resistance of the nasal mucosa to viruses and pathogens.

Special instructions

To avoid harm, do not apply the solution to cartilage tissue, eyes or ear cavity. Do not apply the solution too deep into the nose.

Do not use the product if you are hypersensitive to the components of the solution.

Do not use the product for the nasal mucosa MestaMidin®-nose continuously for more than two weeks without medical supervision.

Do not use internally.

To avoid contamination of the solution, do not allow the bottle pipette to come into contact with foreign objects.

Do not use the product if the integrity of the packaging is damaged.

Composition

Propylene glycol – 100 mg,

dexpanthenol – 10 mg,

hydroxyethylcellulose – 8 mg,

octenidine dihydrochloride – 0.25 mg,

water for injection – up to 1 ml.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components of the solution.

Interaction

Do not use together with iodine-containing antiseptics due to the possibility of a pronounced change in skin color in adjacent areas from brown to purple.
