Mataren Plus, cream 30 g

Mataren Plus has anti-inflammatory, analgesic, anti-edematous, warming and distracting effects in the area where the cream is applied, causing localized hyperemia and hyperthermia of the skin.

Mataren Plus reduces pain in joints (including spinal joints) and muscles at rest and while moving, helps increase joint movement (in the area of application of the cream). Reduces morning stiffness and swelling of joints.

Meloxicam selectively inhibits cyclooxygenase 2, disrupts the metabolism of arachidonic acid, reduces the amount of prostaglandins (mediators of pain and inflammation) in the center of inflammation.

The tincture of chilli pepper contains capsaicin, which has an irritating effect on sensitive skin receptors, resulting in a local analgesic effect, improving blood circulation in the skin and subcutaneous tissue, as well as a warming effect.

The improvement of local blood flow is accompanied by increased blood circulation in the underlying tissues, which helps to remove the substrate of inflammation from the pathological focus.

The optimal combination of the components of the cream resulted in the mutual enhancement of their analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects.

When applied together, the active ingredients of Mataren ® Plus cream has a greater synergistic effect compared to the individual effect of each of these components.

Indications

Inflammatory and degenerative diseases of the musculoskeletal system.
Rheumatic lesions of soft tissues.
Pain syndrome: bursitis, tendinitis, lumbago, sciatica, neuralgia, myalgia, arthralgia, radiculitis, post-traumatic pain syndrome (traumatic bruises, dislocations, sprains, muscles and tendons, muscle ruptures without compromising the integrity of the skin), soreness of muscles and joints caused by heavy physical activity.

Pharmacological effect

Special instructions

Avoid contact of the drug with damaged skin, eyes and mucous membranes.

If Mataren® Plus cream gets on these areas, it should be removed using a cotton swab soaked in Vaseline or vegetable oil.

After using the drug, you must wash your hands thoroughly.

Impact on the ability to drive vehicles and operate machinery

The use of the drug does not affect the ability to drive vehicles or machinery.

Pregnancy

The use of the drug is contraindicated during pregnancy and lactation.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, children (up to 12 years), violations of the integrity of the skin and inflammatory skin diseases at the site of intended application.

With caution

In case of impaired renal and liver function, with severe pathology of the gastrointestinal tract (peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum in the acute phase), with severe pathology of the blood system, in childhood (from 12 to 18 years).

You should consult your doctor before combining Mataren® Plus cream with other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, as well as if you need to use the drug for more than 10 days.

Side Effects

The side effects that occur depend on individual sensitivity.

Allergic reactions from the skin (itching, skin rash), peeling of the skin, hyperemia are possible.

If any side effects occur, stop using the cream and consult a doctor.
