Macmiror complex, vaginal cream 30 g

MacMiror complex 500 is an antimicrobial drug for topical use. It has antiprotozoal, antifungal and antibacterial effects.

Nifuratel, a derivative of nitrofuran. It is highly active against a number of bacteria, fungi and protozoa (including Trichomonas vaginalis).

Nistatin is an antifungal antibiotic of polyene group. Binding with sterols in the cell membrane of fungi it breaks its permeability, which leads to cell death. It is highly active against fungi of the genus Candida albicans.

The combination of nifuratel and nystatin allows to achieve a more pronounced antifungal effect and significantly expand the spectrum of antimicrobial action.

The high efficacy and low toxicity of the components of the drug have led to a wide spectrum of its clinical use in the treatment of vaginitis of mixed etiology, particularly its use for the prevention of mycoses caused by specific treatment of trichomoniasis.

Macmiror complex does not disrupt the physiological flora, which avoids the development of dysbacteriosis and quickly restores normocenosis in the vagina.

Indications

Complex therapy of vulvovaginal infections caused by pathogens sensitive to the drug: bacteria, trichomonas, Candida fungi and chlamydia.

Special instructions

It is necessary to simultaneously treat the sexual partner due to the risk of re-infection. During treatment with the drug, sexual contact should be avoided.

Method of using a graduated applicator: screw the graduated applicator onto the tube of cream. Take the required amount of cream (in accordance with the scale lines indicating the amount in grams) by pressing on the tube. Disconnect from the tube, insert into the vagina, squeeze out the contents by pressing on the rod.

The presence of a special nozzle allows you to introduce the cream without damaging the hymen. To do this, you need to remove the cannula from the top of the shaft and screw it onto the head of the syringe from the opposite side before inserting the cream into the vagina.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to one of the active ingredients or any auxiliary ingredient of the drug.

Side Effects

In rare cases, allergic reactions in the form of skin rash or itching are possible.
