Special instructions

During the treatment period, care must be taken when driving vehicles and engaging in other potentially hazardous activities that require increased concentration and speed of psychomotor reactions due to the risk of drowsiness.
In the future, the degree of restriction is determined individually for each patient.

Loratadine

Composition

Active ingredient: loratadine 10 mg.

Excipients: lactose (milk sugar) – 77.5 mg, calcium stearate – 1.0 mg, potato starch – 10.0 mg, croscarmellose sodium (primellose) – 1.5 mg.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

Side Effects

From the digestive system: rarely – dry mouth, nausea, vomiting, gastritis; in some cases – liver dysfunction.

From the side of the central nervous system: rarely – increased fatigue, headache, excitability (in children).

From the cardiovascular system: rarely – tachycardia.

Allergic reactions: rarely – skin rash; in isolated cases – anaphylactic reactions.

Dermatological reactions: in some cases – alopecia.

Interaction

CYP3A4 inhibitors (including ketoconazole, erythromycin), CYP3A4 and CYP2D6 inhibitors (cimetidine, etc.) increase the concentration of loratadine in the blood.

Overdose

Drowsiness, tachycardia, headache. In case of overdose, you should consult a doctor and take measures to remove the drug from the gastrointestinal tract and reduce absorption (emetics, gastric lavage, laxatives, activated carbon).

Peritoneal dialysis is ineffective; hemodialysis is not recommended.
