Symptomatic therapy for infectious and inflammatory respiratory tract diseases accompanied by cough with sputum difficult to detach (against the background of acute respiratory diseases, influenza, tracheitis, bronchitis, tracheobronchitis, pneumonia, bronchitis “smokers” and other inflammatory respiratory diseases).

How to take, the dosage

Orally, children from 6 months to 3 years – 1/2 tsp (2.5 ml) 3 times a day, 3-8 years – 1 tsp (5 ml) 3 times a day, 8-18 years – 1 tsp 4 times a day, adults – 2 tsp 3-4 times a day.

The duration of the drug is 5-7 days. It is possible to increase the duration and conduct repeated courses of treatment upon the recommendation of the doctor.

Interaction

The simultaneous use with other anti-cough drugs and with drugs that reduce sputum formation is not recommended.

Special Instructions

The preparations contain sugar, which should be considered by patients with diabetes and those on a low-calorie diet.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug. Children under 6 months of age.

With caution: diabetes mellitus.
