Linex® Forte normalizes intestinal microflora.

The main functions of lactic acid bacteria:

– protective: synthesis of substances with antibacterial activity;

Lactic acid bacteria LA-5 and BB-12 inhibit the growth of pathogenic bacteria by:

– lowering the pH in the gut (a result of the ability of LA-5 to synthesize lactic acid and BB-12 to synthesize acetic acid and succinic acid in addition to lactic acid);

– producing metabolites that have toxic effects against pathogenic bacteria (H2O2 formation);

The treatment and prevention of intestinal dysbacteriosis.

Gut dysbacteriosis has the following symptoms: diarrhea (diarrhea), dyspepsia (digestive disorders), constipation, flatulence (bloating), nausea, belching, vomiting, abdominal pain, allergic skin reactions are possible.

Excipients: Beneo Synergy 1 – 171,500 mg (powder contains 90-94% inulin and 6-10% oligofructose (dextrose + fructose + sucrose); magnesium stearate – 3,500 mg.

Capsule body composition: hypromellose – 33.149 mg, titanium dioxide (E 171) – 0.691 mg.

Particle cap composition: hypromellose – 22,080 mg, titanium dioxide dye (E 171) – 0.240 mg, iron oxide yellow dye (E 172) – 0.240 mg.

How to take, the dosage

Preferably take Linex® Forte capsules with a small amount of fluid during or after meals.

Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: 1 capsule 1 to 3 times daily.

Children from 2 to 12 years: 1 capsule 1 to 2 times a day.

Infants and children under 2 years of age: 1 capsule 1 time a day.

Diarrhea in children under 6 years of age must be treated under medical supervision.

If Linex® Forte is prescribed to children and patients who cannot swallow the whole capsule, the capsule must be opened, the contents poured into a spoon and mixed with a small amount of fluid.

The duration of treatment depends on the cause of dysbacteriosis and the individual characteristics of the body. Linex® Forte may be taken until the symptoms of dysbacteriosis disappear.

The recommended daily doses of the drug should not be exceeded.

Interaction

No undesirable interactions with other medicinal products were noted.

In case of concomitant use of antibiotics, the recommended interval between the drug (antibiotic) and Linex® Forte capsules is 3 hours.

Special Instructions

Do not take Linex® Forte with hot drinks and do not take it with alcohol.

You should consult your doctor before taking the drug if you have:

– body temperature higher than 38 ° C;

– traces of blood or mucus in stools;

– diarrhea that lasts more than two days and is accompanied by severe abdominal pain, dehydration, and weight loss;

– chronic conditions such as diabetes, HIV infection.

When treating diarrhea, it is necessary to compensate for lost fluids and electrolytes.

Special precautions for destruction of unused Linex® Forte

There is no need for special precautions when destroying unused Linex® Forte.

The drug has no effect on driving and operating machinery.

Contraindications

– hereditary intolerance to fructose, deficiency of sugar, isomaltase or glucose-galactose malabsorption.

With caution in diabetes mellitus (contains simple sugars), immune system deficiencies (such as HIV infection).
