Licorice, ground roots 50 g

The licorice root decoction has an expectorant and anti-inflammatory effect.

Indications

In the complex therapy of infectious-inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract (mainly in the presence of poorly discharged, thick and viscous secretions); in the complex therapy of chronic inflammatory diseases of the mucous membrane of the gastrointestinal tract.

How to take, the dosage

About 8 g (2 tablespoons) of crushed raw material is placed in an enamel bowl, pour 200 ml (l glass) of cooled boiled water, cover and heat in a boiling water bath for 30 minutes, cool at room temperature for 10 minutes, strain, squeeze the remaining raw material.

The volume of the resulting broth was adjusted with boiled water to 200 ml.

Adults and children over 12 years of age are taken orally by 1 tablespoon 3-4 times a day.

Children from 1 to 3 years – 1 teaspoon 2-3 times a day, from 3 to 5 years – 1 dessert spoon 2-3 times a day, from 5 to 12 years – 1 dessert spoon 3-4 times a day.

The course of treatment is 2-3 weeks.

Before using the infusion is recommended to shake.
