How to take, the dosage

For therapeutic purposes: 1 vaginal capsule 2 times a day (morning and evening) for 7 days.

If necessary, the course of treatment may be extended.

For prophylactic purposes: 1 vaginal capsule once a day at night for 7-14 days.

The treatment and/or prevention should be carried out immediately after menstruation.

Interaction

Lactonorm can be used in combination with other medicines. Application of the drug is possible after local administration of antibacterial drugs and/or antiseptics.

Special Instructions

The capsule should not be removed from the vagina after insertion because it is intended for single use.

The drug should not be used before sexual intercourse. The capsule may be inserted after intercourse and toiletting the external genitalia.

The use in patients under 18 years of age is possible on the recommendation of a physician, taking into account the nature of the disease and individual characteristics.

Impact on the ability to drive vehicles, machinery

The drug does not affect the ability to drive vehicles, machinery.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

It is not recommended for use with symptoms of vulvovaginal candidiasis (“thrush”).

Side effects

When used in the recommended doses, no adverse effects were found.

In rare cases allergic reactions are possible.

Pregnancy use

The drug can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
