Ketoprofen-Vertex, gel 5% 30 g

Ketoprofen has analgesic, anti-inflammatory and antipyretic effects.

Indications

Joint syndrome (rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, gout); symptomatic treatment of inflammatory degenerative diseases of the musculoskeletal system (periarthritis, arthrosynovitis, tendinitis, tendonitis, bursitis, lumbago), spinal pain, neuralgia, myalgia.

Uncomplicated injuries, particularly sports injuries, sprains, sprains or tears of ligaments and tendons, contusions, post-traumatic pain.

In the combination therapy of inflammatory diseases of the veins, lymph vessels, lymph nodes (phlebitis, periphlebitis, lymphangitis, superficial lymphadenitis).

Active ingredient

Composition

1 g of the gel contains ketoprofen 5 mg.

Auxiliary substances:

carbomer (carbopol) – 1.5 g,

ethanol – 32 g,

trolamine – 2.8 g,

lavender oil – 0.1 g,

purified water – up to 100 g.

How to take, the dosage

The cream is applied 3-4 times a day.

Interaction

In external use of ketoprofen interaction with other drugs has not been established.

Special Instructions

The product should be applied only to intact areas of skin, avoiding contact with open wounds, eyes and mucous membranes.

Wash hands after application.

Do not use with occlusive dressings.

Patients with impaired liver and/or kidney function, history of gastrointestinal disorders, bronchial asthma, chronic heart failure should consult a doctor before using the gel.

Contraindications

Moque dermatoses, eczema, infected abrasions, wounds.

Side effects

Itching, skin rash at the application site.

Pregnancy use

Ketoprofen is contraindicated for use in the third trimester of pregnancy. In I and II trimesters of pregnancy the use of ketoprofen is possible in cases when the potential benefit to the mother exceeds the potential risk to the fetus.

If it is necessary to use Ketoprofen during lactation, it is recommended to stop breastfeeding.
