Ketonal, 5% cream 100 g

Ketonal is an NSAID, a derivative of propionic acid. It has analgesic, anti-inflammatory and antipyretic effects. The mechanism of action is associated with inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis at the level of cyclooxygenase. In addition ketoprofen inhibits lipooxygenase, has anti-bradykinin activity, stabilizes lysosomal membranes and causes significant inhibition of neutrophil activity in patients with rheumatoid arthritis.

The pronounced analgesic effect of ketoprofen is due to two mechanisms: peripheral (indirectly through inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis) and central (due to inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis in central and peripheral nervous system).

vaseline white – 640 mg,

Elphacos ST9 – 60 mg,

propylene glycol glyceryl oleate – 180 mg,

magnesium sulfate – 10 mg,

purified water – 765 mg.

Contraindications

– hypersensitivity to the components of the drug;

– hypersensitivity to salicylates, thiaprofenoic acid or other NSAIDs, phenofibrate, UV blockers, fragrances;

– Skin integrity problems (eczema, sore throat, open or infected wound);

– A history of bronchial asthma attacks triggered by taking NSAIDs and salicylates.

He has a history of photosensitivity.including indirect sunlight and UV exposure in a tanning bed for the whole period of treatment and 2 weeks after discontinuation of the treatment;

– 3rd trimester of pregnancy;

– childhood age less than 15 years.

With caution: impaired hepatic and/or renal function, gastrointestinal erosive lesions, blood diseases, bronchial asthma, chronic heart failure.

Overdose

Symptoms: irritation, erythema, itching.

Treatment: Use of the drug should be stopped. The patient should see a doctor.
