Keto plus is a combined antifungal drug.

Ketoconazole is a synthetic derivative of imidazole-dioxalane. It has an antifungal effect.

It is active against dermatophytes (Trichophyton spp., Epydermophyton spp., Microsporum spp.), yeast and yeast-like fungi (Candida spp., Malassezia futur /Pityrosporum ovale/).

Zinc pyrithione has an antiproliferative effect on epithelial cells; it has some activity against Pityrosporum ovale and Pityrosporum orbiculare, which cause excessive skin flaking.

The product quickly reduces scalp flaking and itching associated with dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis.

When used topically, absorption of the active ingredients of the drug through the skin is low. With long-term use of the drug the concentrations of ketoconazole and zinc pyrithione in the blood are not determined.

Special instructions

When using shampoo, avoid getting it into the eyes. If shampoo gets into your eyes, rinse them with water.

When using the drug in patients using GCS for local use, in order to avoid withdrawal syndrome, their use should be continued while using Keto Plus shampoo, followed by gradual withdrawal of GCS over 2-3 weeks.

In rare cases, increased hair loss has been reported when using Keto Plus shampoo.

Velko SX200 shampoo base (ethylene glycol monostearate, ethylene glycol distearate, sodium lauryl sulfate, coconut oil fatty acid diethanolamide and coconut oil fatty acid monoethanolamide);

Propylene glycol;

Hypromellose;

Colloidal silicon dioxide;

Imidourea;

Magnesium aluminum silicate;

Azorubine dye;

Hydrochloric acid, concentrated;

Flavor “Swiss bouquet”;

Purified water

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

Recommendations for use

The shampoo is applied with massaging movements to the hair and scalp and left for 3-5 minutes; after that, wash it off.

When treating pityriasis versicolor – daily for 5-7 days.

When treating seborrheic dermatitis – 2 times a week for 1 month.

To prevent pityriasis versicolor – daily for 3-5 days.

To prevent seborrheic dermatitis – once a week for 1 month.
