Lidocaine, Chlorhexidine

100 g of the gel contains 0.05 g chlorhexidine dihydrochloride and 2 g lidocaine.

Instillation should be done by gentle pressure on the corrugated syringe.

After emptying, the syringe should be held in compression until withdrawn from the canal.

Injection of instruments is recommended 10 minutes after gel instillation.

There are no data on drug interactions of Categel with lidocaine.

In case of marked bradycardia, lubricants that do not contain lidocaine are recommended for anesthesia.

In case of a “false pathway”, do not insert into the urethra (application of gel to the instrument or suprapubic urine diversion is possible).

Hypersensitivity to Categel with lidocaine.
