Pharmacological action – broad spectrum antibacterial, bactericidal, antibacterial.

Damages the cytoplasmic membrane of the microbial cell, disorganizes the flow of metabolites within it with rapid subsequent death.

Pharmacodynamics

Framicetin is a bactericidal antibiotic for topical use from the group of aminoglycosides.

The concentration of Framicetin achieved when applied topically ensures its bactericidal activity against Gram-positive and Gram-negative microorganisms, causative agents of upper respiratory tract infections.

Indications

In combined therapy for infectious and inflammatory diseases of the upper respiratory tract, including:

Prevention and treatment of inflammatory processes after surgical interventions.

Active ingredient

Composition

1 ml of nasal spray solution contains:

Active substance:

framicetin sulfate – 12.5 mg (8 thousand. IU);

Auxiliary substances:

methylparahydroxybenzoate,

sodium chloride,

citric acid,

distilled water.

How to take, the dosage

Adults: administer 1 injection in each nostril 4-6 times a day.

In children: 1 injection in each nostril 3 times a day.

The average duration of therapy is 7 days.

When using the bottle should be kept upright.

Interaction

No clinically significant interactions of Isofra with other medicinal products were found.

Special Instructions

If within 7 days of treatment there is no or little therapeutic effect, the drug should be stopped.

Overdose

In view of the low degree of absorption into the systemic bloodstream, overdose is unlikely.

Pregnancy use

Isofra in pregnancy and lactation (breastfeeding) has not been adequately and strictly controlled clinical safety studies.
