Special instructions

If allergic reactions occur during use of the drug, its use should be discontinued.

When using Hygienic shampoo, you should avoid getting it on the mucous membranes of the eyes and nasopharynx. Before treating your hair, you should tie a rolled-up cotton scarf around your head (below the hair). If shampoo gets into your eyes or mouth, rinse them thoroughly with water. If you accidentally swallow the drug, you should immediately consult a doctor.

You should avoid long-term use of the drug.

In case of infection in public places such as kindergartens, preschools, schools, it is recommended to use the drug once a week as a prophylaxis while there is a risk of infection. For mass use, healthcare workers should use gloves if shampooing is performed by the same person. You should observe the rules of personal hygiene (wash your hands after finishing work).

If infection occurs in a family, it is recommended that all family members be treated with the drug for prevention.

In some areas of skin contact, shampoo can cause contact dermatitis.

Contraindications

Action

Permethrin belongs to the group of pyrethroid insecticides – analogues of the natural insecticide pyrethrin, found in the flower extract of some types of tansy. Permethrin quickly penetrates the nervous system of insects and is a nerve and contact poison that is very effective against lice. In addition to lice, it also destroys nits.

Permethrin acts directly on the membranes of nerve cells in insects. The mechanism of action is to inhibit the repolarization process by blocking sodium channels in the membrane of the nerve cell, which regulates the polarization of the membrane, resulting in paralysis and death of the insect.

Permethrin is low-toxic and belongs to class III hazardous substances. Highly toxic to bees and beneficial insects, as well as fish. Does not have a selective effect. Low toxicity for warm-blooded animals and humans. Cumulative properties are weakly expressed. When ingested by the human body, permethrin is metabolized into non-toxic compounds by liver enzymes. This process is fast and efficient. Even if products containing permethrin are ingested in excessively large doses, they are practically non-toxic for warm-blooded animals.
